The Light House
A safe harbour and steady light.
The Lighthouse was created for people who find it easier to focus when they’re not alone but don’t want noise, distractions or pressure.
Consider this your monthly invitation to sit together in focused time, supporting each other with shared presence.
2 hours per month

How it works
Each Light House session lasts up to two hours, fully flexible (come and go as you need). All sessions are held virtually via Zoom.
The first hour:
-
Cameras are on or off – your choice
-
Microphones are muted – this means you’re welcome to play music in your own home if you wish
-
A quiet, shared time to focus on a craft or creative practice you love but don’t set aside the time to do
You might be writing, drawing, sewing, planning, making or simply thinking.
The second hour:
-
You’re invited to stay and share what you’ve worked on
-
If you don’t want to share, appreciate and encourage the group – you might even be inspired!
We don’t critique, we don’t judge, we just exist in a community.
You’re welcome to stay for one hour or both.
The Lighthouse may be especially supportive if:
-
You’re neurodivergent or neurocomplex
-
You struggle to create alone
-
You crave community but find groups overwhelming
-
You want protected time for creativity or reflection
-
You’d like to feel connection without pressure to speak
You don’t need to be Picasso or Dickens – your effort is enough.
