Welcome to Adventure in Minds
Neurocomplexity, connection, transformation.

Shaped by nature.
Adventure in Minds (AIM) encourages you to take time
To take the small step in connecting with yourself, your community and with nature.
Adventure in Minds exists for the parents, families and young people navigating neurodiversity, change and overwhelm. AIM exists to give you somewhere safe to lay your problems down for a moment.
At Adventure in Minds, you don’t need to perform or be fixed. We offer you the chance to tell your story, your way.

A small step on a shared walk
Share your story with me, Samatha Dawn, and take the heavy weight off you.
My integrative practice is rooted in nature and invigorated by you.
I work alongside people who are carrying a lot, emotionally, mentally and in their relationships, who often feel misunderstood by the world, the systems and the structures not built for neurocomplex lives.
I offer you the chance to tell your story, in your own time, in your way. As we go forwards together, I will be your companion. Your guide. Your footprints in the sand.
Use our resources to help you find your way – to yourself, your community and the abundant natural world.
In order to receive, you must give. In order to give, you must receive.
Therapy, rooted in nature
You may be feeling exhausted, isolated or unsure whether you fit into this world.
You may be carrying grief, frustration, anger or quiet hope. You may feel numb and cut off from everything.

However you feel, you're welcome here.
Adventure in Minds supports:
Our work is gentle, person-centred and rooted in natural beauty and creativity.
Adventure in Minds offers an integrative style of therapy that helps you regulate and connect with yourself, your community and with nature. We use tools such as hypnosis, parts work (discovering and coming to terms with the different elements of your subconscious), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and more, alongside reflective and creative resources and nature-centred experiences.
There is no one “right” way or set timeline when we work together. Silence is welcome, movement is welcome and so is everything in between. We’re your companion on your neurocomplexity journey, navigating the systems designed to focus on what’s “wrong” with you, rather than the multitude of resources you have within you.
Nature has its own way of marking the passage of time. Let that be your permission to reset your life to your own rhythms.
Throughout this website, you’ll find information about what to expect, how sessions work and how I support neurodivergent and neurocomplex people with compassion and empathy.
You don’t need a diagnosis. You don’t need the right words. Just come as you are – that's the best way you can be.
